Europcar also allows child seats to be selected as an online extra. Its Italian website distinguishes between infant and older-child equipment and warns that optional extras remain subject to availability.
The practical lesson is simple: add the seat to the actual reservation and keep the confirmation. Do not rely on arriving at Olbia Airport in August and asking whether a baby seat happens to be available.
Choose the seat by the baby, not just by age
Rental websites often use labels such as “infant seat,” “baby seat” and “child seat,” but these names can be confusing. Check the stated weight, height and age range for the equipment being offered.
